Privacy Policy

01Introduction
Beck & Call Pte Ltd (“Beck & Call”, “we”, “us”) provides home cleaning services to households in Singapore. We take the confidentiality of the personal data entrusted to us seriously and are committed to handling it in line with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).
This policy applies to everyone who interacts with us — customers, prospective customers, and visitors to our website.
02What data we collect
- Identity: full name, phone number, and email address if provided.
- Address: the residential address where the cleaning session is to be delivered.
- Communication: WhatsApp chat history with our booking assistant and team.
- Booking records: session dates, times, assigned helpers, scope of work, special requests, and payment records.
- Website: page views and session behaviour (through Microsoft Clarity once installed), IP address, and device/browser type.
- Payment: payments are handled by HitPay, a third-party payment processor. Beck & Call does not store card details.
03How we collect it
- Directly from you when you book or chat with us on WhatsApp.
- Automatically, through our website analytics.
- From our payment processor (HitPay) when you complete a payment.
04Why we collect it
- To provide the service — assigning a helper, scheduling the session, and delivering the work at the correct address.
- To process payments and issue invoices.
- To communicate with you about bookings, schedule changes, and service updates.
- To improve the service — matching helpers to homes, operational planning, and analytics.
- To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
05Who we share it with
We share the minimum data needed, only with the parties below:
- Assigned helpers: name, address, phone, and any special requests — only as needed to deliver the session.
- HitPay: for payment processing, governed by HitPay’s own privacy policy.
- WATI: our WhatsApp Business API provider, for delivering messages.
- Google: for calendar-based scheduling, governed by Google’s privacy policy.
- Microsoft: for Clarity website analytics, governed by Microsoft’s privacy policy.
- Government authorities: where we are legally required to disclose data.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
06Where we store it
- Our primary store is a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on a Vultr VPS located in Singapore.
- Backups are encrypted and retained for seven days.
- Data is not transferred outside Singapore except to the third-party providers listed above.
07How long we keep it
- For as long as your customer relationship with us is active.
- For up to seven years after your last activity, to meet IRAS accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Chat history is retained for quality and training purposes.
- Website analytics are retained per Microsoft Clarity’s default settings.
08Your rights under the PDPA
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Withdrawal of consent: ask us to stop processing your data. Note that this may end our ability to provide the service to you.
- Deletion: request deletion, subject to the legal retention obligations above.

09Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — including an encrypted database, access restricted to authorised team members, and periodic security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach occurs, we will notify affected customers and the Personal Data Protection Commission as required by the PDPA.
10Cookies and website tracking
- We use only the minimum cookies needed for the site to function.
- Microsoft Clarity provides session analytics (once installed) and can be opted out of via your browser settings.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
11Children
Our services are intended for customers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active customers via WhatsApp.
